Igreja Batista Fundamental (Areial)

This work is actually the work of a Brazilian missionary.  We are taking care of the work for him while he is raising much needed support here in Brazil.  It is in a poor neighborhood here in the city of Rio Branco called Areial.  He is currently renting a building but the landlord has been giving us trouble since Pastor Ruy left.  He has already raised rent and because a contract was never signed he can do so every month and we cannot do anything about it.  The landlord has made it clear that he does not want us there either.  For $10,000 we could buy property and put up a rough building.  If 67 people gave $150 we would be able to do it.  Below are some pictures of the work and some of the people.

This girl, Willianne, recently accepted Jesus as her Savior.  She is reciting the books of the Old Testament in this picture.

This is Wesley.  He was recently saved too and is the brother of Willianne.  He is also reciting the books of the Old Testament.

Here are some of the people of the church.  It is a small group but has a great potential to grow.  This is the outside of the rented building.
