MARCH/APRIL 2011

Greetings in the Name our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Once again, we are excited about what God is doing.  The Bible Institute is doing great, the church in Rio Branco is growing, and the work at the colony also continues to go forward.  The family is doing great as well.

The Bible Institute is already underway.  We would like to thank all of you for your prayers for this ministry.  We have nine students, and they are all working hard to do their best.  We ask that you continue to pray for the students.  It can be a bit of a load at times, because most of the students have full time jobs plus their responsibilities at home and at church.  We are trying to work with the students so it will not be overbearing for them.

The church in Rio Branco is doing well.  We have seen souls saved, three just last Sunday.  The youth group is growing which has always been a challenge for us, so we are excited to see the young people and the changes that God is making in their lives.  The young people also did a wonderful program for Easter and are now planning the Mother’s Day program.  The church has also been able to take on another missionary this year.  Our Faith Promise giving increased this year, and we are overjoyed to see God at work.  This makes nine missionaries that the church supports at this time.  We continue to see spiritual growth in the church family.  Some are being trained for leadership positions in Sunday school.  Please pray with us for God’s wisdom as we plan on turning this work over soon.

The church at the colony is going forward and we are still praying that God will bring up the future pastor for this work as well.  We are seeing God work but the distance from Rio Branco to the colony work makes it a much slower process than what we like.  But God is in control and knows all things.

The family is all doing well.  The children are working hard to finish up the school year soon.  We all stay very busy with the many responsibilities of the ministry here.  On April 22nd, Kelly was one of the speakers for a women’s retreat that was hosted by the first work started.  The theme was “Women, Instruments of God.”  God blessed.  There were 10 ladies from the church in Rio Branco that participated.

Just as a reminder here is our new field address:

Cx. Postal 1502, Estação Experimental

69912-600 Rio Branco – AC

Brazil, South America.

The old address will be no longer in service soon.

We want to thank you the churches and individuals for your prayers and for the sacrifices you make financially so that we can be here.  May God richly bless you and increase your treasures in Glory.

In His Love,

Stephen, Kelly, Philip, Hannah,

Joshua and Benjamin Doolittle
