NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2010

Greetings in the Name our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Isaiah 9:6a “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:”

Here we are coming to the close of another year in which God, in His infinite mercies, has allowed us to see Him do great and mighty things.  As we anticipate the coming of a new year, we are also excited with all God is doing and will be doing.

As usual things have been very busy with the church activities for Christmas and the New Year.  Both churches are doing well.  We are seeing God working in the hearts and lives of His people and that is always exciting.  Since our last letter we have seen two more souls come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior.  The church in Rio Branco also had a great missions conference.  Thank you for your prayers.  We saw God work in a mighty way.  The people here have really learned to give.  Our faith promise for next year increased so that in 2011 we will be able to do more for missions.  Pray for these churches and the people here.  We would like to have the church in Rio Branco turned over to a national pastor within the next two years.  God has already given us a couple that we are slowly working with.  We would also like to have the work at the colony turned over as well.  We are excited about the Bible institute.  This will be up and running the beginning of 2011.  We have about ten of our people that will be studying.  Pray that God will continue to work in the hearts of the people here and that the people will be sensitive to His calling.  Our desire is to see people trained to serve Him wherever that may be.

Since we have been back here in Rio Branco God has blessed us in many ways.  One of the ways He has blessed us is that we have had people come from the States to visit us.  As we write this letter we are blessed to have Stephen’s parents here and also his sister Rachel and her family visiting from Boa Vista, Roraima, Brazil.  This will definitely be a Christmas and New Years that will be remembered for some time.  Of course the children have been excited to have cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents to play with and tell stories.

We would like to take this time to also thank each and every one of you for your kindness displayed toward us through Christmas cards, gifts, and special offerings.  We know there are sacrifices that you make to help out in the ministry here.  May God richly bless you.

We pray that you will have a Christ filled Christmas and a God centered 2011.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

In His Love,
